Another day, another post::)

Hehe, two days in a row. First time in a loong time.
Nothing to say today, just quick sketches to keep myself going.
They are not that good, but I need to get back to it. Will try to post more often from now :)

Cheers to all,

Milenko

Finally, a Fench Maid!

I always wanted to do one of them but somehow never did.
Well I kind of did, in the days long gone, but those sketches are not good enough to share now.
And they are too filthy too, so they are guaranteed to taint my professional image and ruin my stellar career.
This one was surprisingly quick to do.
I was bored and the only thing on TV was that man who verses wild, and as entertaining as that show generally is I decided to fiddle with some sketches.
This one took just over an hour and it is a bit rough, but in my heart, it felt finished.
Actually, I was too uninspired to try and polish it more.
Well anyhow, maid it is!
On another note, a few days ago, I managed to stab myself in the eye with screwdriver. Funny thing that. The eye is fine as I managed to blink right on time but I had a big swelling on my eyelid.
Swelling is gone now.
Important life lession to all you kids trying to renovate your kitchens: bent nail can not be pulled out of a plank of wood with a screwdriver. You are supposed to use that forked side of the hammer, or the pliers. And when using the screwdriver, remember to point that flat metally side of it AWAY from the face!
Also, I am back to work. Today was my first day after five weeks of vacation and boy did it feel good?
Anyhow, enough blabber for the day,
here comes the maid.

Cheers to all,

Milenko

Merry Everything!!

And here I am.
Much like with every other appointment in my life, I am fashionably late with all the holiday's bling and stuff.
A lot is new.
I turned forty, entered the fifth decade of my life, and am still tap-dancing at the bottom of the imaginary staircase representing both my career and my skill level.
I took five weeks off work, half of it unpaid, hoping to recharge my batteries and somehow silence the voices blowing through my head telling me to do stuff I know I will regret soon after.
First week was meant to be a week vacation at a beach resort and it started off really well. First day was all the fun- pool, spa, gym fun and games. And Zelda! And then the weirdest thing happened. I woke up the next morning, and there was this huge, chicken egg sized lump on my left elbow. Dude, I almost shat my pants. I went to the doctor all freaked out, it was soft and hot and looked angry at me and at the world it had to appear in. And the doctor was not much help. He gave me some hard ass antibiotic and told me it is most likely Gout, whatever the fuck that is.
I went back to hotel, my vacation ruined, looked up Gout on the net and contemplated shitting my pants some more. Apparently it is a condition when your body pretty much gives up on you and the uric acid starts building up in your joints or something. Well, I went to see doctor 2 more times, was popping antibiotics and anti inflamatories like crazy and all in all, my vacation was a thousand dollar write off I do not want to talk about ever again! I came back to Brizzie went through my will once again, checked options for a shotgun purchase and went to see my local doctor. I showed him the lump, expressed my concerns about imminent death and had to sit through about 2 minutes of his uncontrollable laughter. Once he managed to stop giggling, he explained to me that it is just an irritated tissue, apparently between the elbow bone and the skin there is this thin layer of spongy tissue placed there by your body to protect your sharp elbow bone from impact and stuff. Well, it turns out I was playing Zelda all evening, unwittingly leaning on my elbow all that time and my elbow sponge decided it had enough and decided to go angry on me. Anyhow, long story short- three weeks later and my elbow almost looks normal again.
Then, there was my 19th wedding anniversary, Christmas, new year and my birthday one after the other, but the less I talk about it the better.
Lesson learnt here: never have expectations. That is the best way to get disappointed.

Well, that is all.
There's much bigger news in the pipes, but let's leave it for some other time. All in all, it is all good.

I hope everyone had great holidays and wish you all all the best in the new year!

Kind regards,

Milenko

PS- the art is lame. I kindof did this quick sketch of this retro girl and then decided to turn it into a bit of holiday theme, so I added some snow in BG and stuff. it sucks, but I will do better next time, I hope.
