Off to a great start:

EA veterans launch StrangeLoopGames

Except that title is mainly wrong because, back in the day, we only got under EA flag briefly, when they purchased "Pandemic Studios" and then culled it, and Australian studio never published a single title under the EA label.

So veterans we may be, but not the veterans of the EA army.
